Process of Facilitator Training

Six steps are involved in becoming a Trained THRIVE Facilitator. You must:

  1. Complete and submit an application for THRIVE Facilitator Training. See the webinar dates and times.
  2. If your application is accepted, we will confirm it and send via email specific on-line registration instructions for the first training session. Carry out the registration, which is done via a URL (web address).
  3. Attend the first session (Part 1) of the two-part THRIVE Facilitator Training Webinar.
  4. Take THRIVE yourself (during the week between webinar sessions 1 and 2) with your spouse or significant other to become familiar with the content and process of taking THRIVE. If you do not have a partner with whom you can take THRIVE, you may simulate a client couple (filling out each partner’s experience as you perceive it to be).
  5. Following your attendance at the first session, you will be sent via email another URL (web address) and new instructions for registering for the second training session. Carry out the registration.
  6. Complete the second webinar session.

You will be sent your own private THRIVE administrative account and you can then begin using THRIVE with your client couples.

User-Groups

Once trained as a THRIVE Facilitator, you are eligible and encouraged to participate in regularly scheduled THRIVE User-Group Webinars for continuous learning and development in the use of THRIVE.

User-Group Webinars are held for one hour every other month, on different evenings. You will be automatically sent a URL inviting you to register to participate. Attendance is optional, and you do not pay any additional charge for participation.

Participating Facilitators are encouraged to raise questions about THRIVE, share experiences, uses, and other ideas, as well as review Sphere-Charts anonymously to deepen their knowledge and facilitation skills using the tool.
